Escargot Anyone?

Croque-monsieur (grilled ham and cheese sandwich) and french fries

Can you imagine going to another country and wanting to try everything that country had to offer in the way of food? That is exactly what I did when I had a traditional irish meal while in Ireland, escargot in France and gnocchi and pizza in Italy. On top of that, how could I forget the pastry and breads from each country? Instead of me going on about all the different foods and why you have to try something new when travelling I thought I would show you.

Isn’t it better to visually see the food to get ideas of what you might like to try when you go on your next trip? Be prepared to try something new. Go out of your comfort zone of foods you normally eat and pick something different to try. It could be haggis in Scotland or Irish stew in Dublin……

Ireland

France

Italy

What food would you try if you had the chance to go anywhere you wanted in the world? Why would you try this food? Is it because you heard all about it and want to see how it taste for yourself? Do you want to be adventurous and try something new? What are your reasons for wanting to try different foods no matter where you happen to be in your travels? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
