Madame Tussaud’s and Meeting Maryam

I decided to go to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and see the Chamber of Horrors and everything else in the museum. I’m proud of myself for not getting lost. Yet! I went to Madame Tussaud’s and had to wait in a long line for a ticket. They call standing in line a ‘que’. It was worth the wait. I asked someone to take a picture of me with Nicholas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson. They looked so real that you would think I was standing next to the real deal. I should let everyone think I actually had my picture taken with them. I also saw the Chamber of Horrors which wasn’t as impressive as I thought it would be. I stayed there for a little while before taking the tube to meet Maryam at Bayswater Underground Station.

You know what I said about not getting lost. Finally got myself lost. I ended up taking a different train then I should have and ended up taking the scenic route through London. That is what the ticket agent said when I told him I needed to get to Bayswater. I ended up showing up 15 minutes late to meet Maryam. But, luckily without a problem, we were able to find one another. We walked to the mall for dinner. I ordered the fettucine alfredo and a sprite to drink. When the waiter brought out the food, he brought me fries instead of a sprite. When he put the food in front of me, I was thinking why would I order fries with pasta? He had thought I said fries and not sprite. I got that straightened out when he brought my my drink. After dinner, Maryam showed me around the area. We went by Hyde Park but it was closed for the evening. I left about 7:00 pm to take the tube back to London Bridge Underground Station. The hostel isn’t too far from that station and is within walking distance from it. Before getting on the tube, I told Maryam I would try and stop by her work tomorrow since I am leaving London on Wednesday.Maryam and me
