Sue and I headed into Venice by ferry this morning. We didn’t do too much except wander around the city and San Marco. Also I was in search of another mask. Can’t have too many of them. I had to head towards the Rialto which is where I bought my last mask. Found a cat mask for my sister.
For lunch, we ate at this cafe where I had panini (bread that had melted cheese and tomato in it) and strawberries and whipped cream for dessert.
It has been raining for most of the day. Good thing I brought my umbrella that I had bought in Venice the last time I was here. It came in handy today.
We were going to go to Murano to see the glass factory but we didn’t have time to do it. Maybe next time.
Headed back to the camp at 7:00 so I could pack and have dinner. I went to the restaurant and ordered spaghetti with mushrooms. Somehow, I ended up with gnocci. Not sure why I didn’t speak up and say anything. It actually wasn’t bad though I would have rather had the spaghetti that I had ordered.
