Staying in Prague for a Few Days

Prague
Prague

I ended up arriving in Prague about 7:50 am. I think I may stay only one night and head to Ceske Krumlov tomorrow since I like smaller towns better. I wasn’t sure I was going to find the metro that would take me to Pension Sunshine. I ended up walking outside of the train station thinking that the metro was outside. I couldn’t find out so I walked back into the train station and ended up seeing a sign for the metro. I got on the metro and headed for the station that would take me to the hostel. I was able to get a bed for tonight and so I headed up to the room to put my stuff away and figure out what I wanted to do next.

I left the hostel and headed to Prague Castle. Before I headed in the direction of the castle, I needed to go to Vaclauske Namesti to change some money and find the internet. I found the net so I logged onto busabout to see if I could leave for Ceske Krumlov tomorrow. The earliest I would be able to leave would be the 13th (Sunday). I will be staying here for a few more days. I knew I needed to head back to the hostel to see about extending my stay. It’s more convenient for me to stay there since busabout picks up outside of the hostel. I was able to extend my stay without a problem.

Off to Prague Castle. I walked up the many or it felt like alot of steps to the Castle and just walked around the outside of it. I never did go inside. I also saw St. Vitus Cathedral and the old royal palace. They are next to one another. I walked through the royal gardens and sat on one of the benches and took in my surroundings and everything I was seeing. This has to be one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. I know I keep saying that with every city I visit. I can’t help it. Everything is amazing here ….. So glad I am going to be staying here for a few days. It was about 5:00 pm when I headed back to the hostel to write some postcards to send to everyone.
