New Orleans is definitely the place to visit if you want to visit a cemetery. Their cemeteries are fashioned after the ones in Paris where the tombs are above ground. For New Orleans, it has to do with the water level because if they were below ground then the bodies would float up because New Orleans is below sea level.

what an interesting tour! I’m a huge fan of visiting cemeteries when I travel so if I happen to visit New Orleans I will definitely go for it!

I love tours like this and because of the weather I ended up being the only one on the tour. I got to see a bit more then I would if the tour was crowded because of the nice weather. Lucky me, it was raining the day I went.

I don’t know what it is about cemeteries that are so fascinating. Maybe because each one is different from the next one and like you said it is peaceful.
